BCMS announces spelling bee winners.

Bleckley County Middle School held their grade level Spelling Bee December 10. Participants were made up of the top two spellers from each Social Studies classroom for grades six, seven, and eight.

Sixth grade top finishers.


Sixth grade participants were: Emma Claire Amerson, Skylar Bullard, Hayden Foskey, Blakely Giddens, Grady Green, Camryn Hardy, Sophie Hasty, Zy’Meire Height, Kimora Hughes, Mitchell Mangham, William Mauldin, Hannah Radford, Camden Smith, Nolan Wade, and Cambriah Walker. The top three finishers were as follows: Third place: Camden Smith. Second place: Hayden Foskey. First place: Cambriah Walker.

Seventh grade paricipants.


Seventh grade participants were: Blake Allen, Jeremy Anderson, CJ Darsey, Jeriyah Evans, Zoey Kester, Brooklyn Nix, Allie Nobles, Abigail Patat, Bhavya Patel, Vincent Read, Emma Rogers, Gracie Terry, and Brianna Thomas. The top three finishers were as follows. Third place: Allie Nobles. Second place: Jeremy Anderson. First place: Zoey Kester.

Seventh grade winners.


Eighth grade participants were: Chayson Adams, Mason Asbell, Antwain Ates, Brayden Hill, Gracen Lopez, Dylan McBurse, Bryna Mullis, Paige Murray, Olivia Owens, Rebecca Pudleiner, Ayden Raffield, Lili Smith, Laycee Stanley, Jordyn Wells, and Lilli Zaresky, The top three finishers were as follows. Third place: Lilli Zaresky. Second place: Paige Murray. First place: Lili Smith.

Eighth grade participants.


The top two finishers from each grade advance to the Bleckley County School System Spelling Bee January 18 at 9 am. It will feature winners in grades 4 through 8. The System Spelling Bee winner advances to the GAE District 7 Spelling Bee February 24 in Eatonton.
