BCHS concluded their yearly non-region series against Jeff Davis by hosting the Yellow Jackets Wednesday evening. Though the Royals stayed close, they could never catch up.

Jett Fordham

Down 3-1 in the second, BC got a run on a balk, but left a runner at second. Down 5-2 in the third, Gavin Cole tripled in a run. But he was left at third despite three chances to drive him in.

Walker Boatright

The Royals would get within two again in the sixth, cutting a 7-3 deficit to 7-5. They got two on with two outs in the bottom of the seventh but both were left stranded in a 7-5 loss. Bleckley left eight on base.

Austin Yourn

Cole was 1 for 2 with 1 RBI. Braegan Cravey hit his third home run of the season, a solo shot, in the first. Walker Boatright was 2 for 4 with 1 RBI. BC plays at Dublin tomorrow. JV start at 4 pm with varsity to follow.
