BCHS track athletes advance to state.

BCHS hosted the biggest track meet in school history when it stepped up to host the GHSA Track Sectionals for Class A, Division 1, Regions 1, 2, 3, and 4 after other host schools cancelled. Those who had finished in the top eight at region meets competed for a state berth. To qualify, an individual needed to finish in the top eight of their event.

Boys.
800 meter run: Ryder Garrett, Logan Camp, Caleb Darsey. 1600 meter run: Ryder Garrett, Jack Harrell, Caleb Darsey. 3200 meter run: Jack Harrell, Harrison Rodgers, Logan Camp. Boys 4x800 relay team. Pole vault: William Arnold. Discus: TJ Fountain

Girls.
800 meter run: Lily Farrell, Claira Lynch. 1600 meter run: Lily Farrell, Natalie Kitchens, Claira Lynch. 3200 meter run: Lily Farrell, Natalie Kitchens, Ava Herrington. Girls 4x100 meter relay team. Girls 4x200 meter relay team. Girls 4x400 meter relay team. Girls 4x800 meter relay team.



High Jump: Jordan Mathis. Long Jump: Jaylicia Stanley. Discus: Reese Bryant. The GHSA State Track Championships will be held May 9 and 10 at Historic Baron Stadium in Rome.
