Tuesday’s game appeared to be another close one going to the fifth. Bleckley had an early 2-0 lead, DC got on the board in the bottom of the fourth. Bleckley appeared poised to answer in the fifth, loading the bases with one out.

In the bottom of the fifth, Dodge had runners at second and third with no outs. But two Rayea Dominy strikeouts and a pop out got the Lady Royals out of the jam unscathed. In the sixth, Dominy and Nyra Waters had back to back RBI doubles with two outs as part of a six-run top of the inning.
BC added eight more in the seventh for their biggest win against Dodge since the two schools began facing each other in fastpitch, 16-1. Dominy struck out 10 and was also 3 for 5 with a double and 3 RBI.
Zoey Adams was 3 for 4 with a sac fly and 2 RBI. Alaysia Coley went 3 for 5 with 1 RBI. Kadence Carmichael was 2 for 3 with a double and 2 RBI. Emmie Williams was 2 for 3 with 1 RBI. Bleckley hosts East Laurens August 14 at 5:30 pm.
