BCHS was in Macon for the beginning of a home and home series with A.C.E. Going into the game the Gryphons were tied for second place in the region with East Laurens. Unfortunately for the Lady Royals, A.C.E. now finds themselves tied for first.

Tied 2-2 in the bottom of the third, a sac fly gave A.C.E. the lead. BC had at least one runner on base in each of the first four innings but only scored two runs. A two-run bottom of the fifth made it 5-3 Gryphons.

Nyra Waters' RBI groundout made it 5-3 in the sixth. In the seventh, Bleckley had runners at first and third with one out. The runner at third fell for a faked throw to second base and tried to score. She was tagged out. Though the runner at first would advance to third, the home plate batter grounded out to end the game. BC left seven runners on base.

Waters was 2 for 3 with 1 RBI. Emmie Williams went 3 for 4. The series wraps up in Cochran tomorrow at 5:30 pm.
