Miss Pumpkin Pageant held.

In a return to past tradition, the Cochran Bleckley Chamber of Commerce held the Miss Pumpkin Pageant Friday afternoon in the city auditorium. The pageant was held during the days of the Pumpkin Festival.



There were 14 girls participating in categories ranging from Baby Miss to Junior Miss. Awards were given for the usual categories, prettiest hair, prettiest smile, photogenic.



There was a second category at the pageant, OOC, known as Outfit of Choice. After the initial presentation of the contestants, each then came back out in an outfit of their (or in some cases mom’s) choosing.



Here are all the winners. (Editor’s note, only first names were available for most of the awards.)

Baby Miss- Prettiest hair, Prettiest smile, Photogenic, first runner up, Wrenley. Best OOC and Queen, Lila Grace.

Teeny Miss- Anniston won all awards (only contestant.)

Tiny Miss- First runner up, Annie. Prettiest hair, Prettiest smile, Photogenic. Best OOC and Queen, Sadie

Matt Fordham (pictured) along with Dawson Chapman from Citizens Bank of Cochran crowned the winners.


Little Miss- Prettiest smile, Photogenic, First Runner Up, Evelyn. Prettiest hair, Best OOC and Queen, Khlanie.

Young Miss- Second Runner-Up, Ashlyn. First Runner Up, Olivia. Prettiest hair, Prettiest smile, Photogenic. Best OOC and Queen, Annie.
