BCHS closed out their home regular season Thursday night against winless Central. (Editor’s note: I saw power rankings this week, I know BC was in the top 16, but I can’t find what I looked at.) The Royals had little trouble dispatching the Chargers.

Landry Nobles

The offense got off to a hot start with Brody Fleming throwing touchdown passes on BC’s first three possessions. A 49-yard strike to Kelvin Sneed, a 70-yard bomb to Gage Harris, followed by an 18-yard pass to Octavius Tate.

Kix Foskey

Bleckley scored their fourth touchdown on their fourth possession in the first quarter when Tug Pasby rushed it in from five yards out.

Patrick Robertson

The Royals seemed poised to make it five touchdowns in five possessions in the second quarter but a fumble recovered by the Chargers at their 38 stopped the drive.

Octavius Tate

Central though would not capitalize on the turnover. Later in the quarter, Pasby had his first touchdown pass, a three-yard completion to Patrick Robertson with 3:07 left in the half.

Dykes Pharmacy and Needle N/A Haystack were Thursday's game sponsors. Touchdown Club President Heath Rowland presents a game ball to Rob Dykes.

Tate scored for a second time as the half almost ended, a 41-yard completion from Fleming as the Royals led 42-0 at halftime. The lead meant a running clock for the second half.

Fleming got his fifth and final touchdown pass of the game in the third quarter, a 28-yard strike to Sneed as the Royals rolled 49-0.

Fleming went 15 of 20 for 324 yards and five touchdowns. Tate caught three passes for 78 yards and two scores. Sneed
caught two passes for 77 yards and two touchdowns. The defense held Central to 12 total yards, -2 yards rushing, 18 yards passing.

BC should be in shape to host a playoff game. Brackets will be revealed this weekend, the playoffs start November 14.
