Why some scores have been getting posted later.

While I do have Internet access, I am on the schedule of the rehab hospital. The past couple of days, I've had early morning therapy. Therefore, I back dated some articles when posting. I apologize for the delay, but it's the only way I know to get a semblance of rest for therapy plus keep the site updated. I remain committed to doing my best job possible in covering the community. Thanks for your support.

Update on my health and how it affects coverage.

For those who don't know, I have resumed working again (from home.) Why work from home? Because I can't drive yet. I'm still on a walker and dealing with multiple appointments. As soon as I'm able to cover things live, I will. Until then, I will continue to do what I can to keep you updated on happenings via text and email. Thanks for your continued support.

My health, the disheveled state of the site.

For those of you unaware, I've had a stomach virus, All the usual symptoms, got dehydrated. Virus was on me for a week. Today was the first day in over a week I was able to eat anything of substance. Site calendar is so behind, I an still very weak. I'm so sorry things are so behind.

I'm sick.

I've got either a stomach virus or food poisoning. In any event, I feel AWFUL. That's why things have been so quiet today, why the BOE meeting article isn't up yet. I don't have the energy to do it. If I feel better tomorrow, will try to get meeting article typed up. Also, whether I feel better or not will determine whether I cover eighth grade recognition for soccer tomorrow and Friday's playoff game. I'm sorry, but I've got to feel better than this before I can be out and about.

Soccer teams win, memory card error means no pictures.

BCMS soccer swept Tuesday's matches versus Swainsboro. Lilly Farrell and Braylee Cobb had two goals each in the girls 4-1 win. Harrison Rodgers, Josh Goss, and Gabriel Espinosa all scored in the boys 3-0 victory. No pictures are available because of an unknown error involving my memory card. I apologize. Eighth grade recognition will be November 17 versus J.R. Trippe. Girls play at 3:30 pm, then ceremonies, then the boys game.

BOE meeting article to be delayed, why there are two senior night sections.

Minutes from Thursday night's monthly Board of Education meeting were sent out late Friday afternoon. However, there are details which will only available on Simbli that would add needed details to the story. I'm delaying writing until the meeting is updated there. The reason why there will be two senior night sections is because an article can only hold 25 photos. Thus, football players/trainers in one section, cheerleaders, band, cross country in the other.
