MGA waiving admission fees in November.

Middle Georgia State University has made November “Apply to college for free” month. According to a release, anyone can apply for admission to MGA without having to pay application fees November 1-30. Said Dr. Stephen Schultheis, MGA’s vice president for Enrollment Management in a statement, "Applying to college can be stressful but Middle Georgia State University is committed to helping students and their parents clear away obstacles to the admissions process. Waiving the application fee during the month of November is just one part of that effort. Royals blow out Central. ***Offensive stats added.***

BCHS had a 35-0 halftime lead and cruised to a 56-0 win at Central Thursday night. Josh Stanley, Jr. rushed for 112 yards on seven carries with one score. Kaden Perkins caught five passes for 66 yards and two touchdowns. Bleckley closes out the season November 5 versus Jefferson County at 6 pm. ***Stats will be added when available.***

A haunted hall on Halloween night.



For those looking for fun on Halloween night, Middle Georgia State University provided it with “Haunted Talmadge Hall.” People entered downstairs, got a treat bag, then ventured up into the haunted halls where a variety of ghastly creatures were waiting to greet them. It was spooktacular.

Soccer teams sweep Dodge County.



Braylee Cobb had a had trick, and BC got goals from Sarah Helen Rozier and Avery McWhorter, as they beat Dodge County 5-0. The Barons got two goals from Brody Gibbs, plus goals from Liam Woodard and Caleb Kilpatrick, to beat the Warriors 4-0. Bleckley travels to Jeff Davis November 5. Girls play at 3:30 pm with boys to follow.
