Royals have little trouble beating East Laurens.

BCHS scored at least one run in every inning, including two
in the sixth to clinch the game, as they beat East Laurens 12-2 Friday night. Clayton Beck struck out 11 and was 3 for 4 with a double and 3 RBI. Walker Boatright went 2 for 4 with a double and 3 RBI. Jay Johnson was 2 for 4 with an RBI. Brady Brannon and Brody Fleming both went 2 for 3. The March 4 home game against Southwest is now a doubleheader. Game one starts at 4:30 pm with game two to follow 30 minutes later.

Tickets are $35 per couple, $10 for each additional child. Tickets can be purchased via Venmo @BleckleyPTO, or the day of via cash or check (made payable to Bleckley PTO.) Soccer teams split with Central.

Anna Lynch had two goals as the Lady Royals won 4-1 at Central Thursday evening. Nyra Waters and Kylie Reid also scored. Ellen Arnold had an assist. The Royals lost 2-1. Bleckley hosts Fitzgerlad March 4. Girls play at 5 pm with boys to follow.

Bats silent in loss to Wilcox County.

It was non-region action Thursday night as BCHS hosted Wilcox County. Patriot pitching shut down the Royals. Wilcox score one run in the third. The Royals best scoring chance came with two on and one out in the fourth, but couldn’t capitalize. They wouldn’t have another baserunner the rest of the game. Two runs in the seventh cemented Wilcox’s 3-0 win. BC had just three hits, Clayton Beck was 2 for 3. Region play resumes tomorrow against East Laurens. JV play at 4 pm with varsity to follow.
