Lady Royals fall in season opener.

After what was a more normal summer with several scrimmage games in July, BCHS opened the regular season at home Monday afternoon against perennial GISA power Westfield. The Lady Royal offense would have no luck against the Lady Hornets.
Down 5-0 in the second, BC got two walks, both were left stranded. Another walk was stranded in the third. Westfield scored two in the fourth, one in the fifth. A walk in the home half was erased trying to steal second. BCHS was no-hit in losing 8-0.

Wednesday’s game against Hawkinsville will now be varsity only and start at 5:30 pm.
