BCHS Student Art Show held.

The BCHS Student Art Show was held Monday night in the auditorium. It was the first for new Art teacher
BCHS Drama Department students again provided entertainment.

Another first was the presentation of visual arts cords to seniors. Receiving their cords were Christy Tyson, Mia Anderson, Aubrey Lewis, Ellen Arnold, Madison Graham. Olivia NeSmith. Lillian Barlow, and Ta'riyia Anderson (Not pictured.)
Art winners were awarded in the following categories. Art 1: First place-Cara Balthrop, Second place-Allianna Santiago. Third place-Adrianna Colon. Honorable Mention- Riley Barone. Honorable mention- Katie Smith. Honorable mention- Makya Meeges. Art 2: First placet- Kaylin Dopson. Second place- Lina Riehl. Third place- Sam Morris. Honorable mention- Kaylee Shields. Honorable mention- Sidney Williams. Art 3: First- Aubrey Lewis. Second- Max Crenshaw. Third- Zari Bloodworth, Art 4:: First- Ellen Arnold. Second- Mia Anderson. Third- Kason Caruthers. Boys tennis to play for state title.


The BCHS boys tennis team earned a shot at the GHSA State Championship, beating region foe A.C.E. 3-0 Wednesday afternoon. The Royals will travel to Brantley County May 17, start time 2 pm.

Two Royals to continue football careers in college.


A signing ceremony was held Wednesday afternoon for two Royal football players signing their letters of intent to continue their careers as the collegiate level. Nykez Farrow signed with Valdosta State University. Kaden Perkins signined with Columnbus State University.

Final bows for BCHS Drama Department. ***Updated***


Those receiving their cords were: Tabitha Thompson, Santana Nix, Lila Dykes, Sedarian Nelson, Logan Davis, Kooper Hill, Megan Tingey, Carter Willingham, Kason Caruthers, Luke Foster, Holly Wright, Kaden Pettys, Nate Knox.

It was another great year for the BCHS Drama Department. One Act Play and Literary both won region. The Beta Club Show Choir as well as large group performance were among the winners at state convention. Tuesday night, an end of the year show highlighted that and some of the other vocal talent at BCHS. There were Royal Singers numbers, a Beta Club Show Choir number, live band music, performances by the girls trio and boy quartet, as part of a full night of music. After the concert, there were senior slideshows paying homage to both the Royal Singers as well as One Act seniors. A ceremony was then held in which seniors were presented their Drama and Chorus pathway cords.
