High School Sports
Softball tryouts moved to May 13-15. ***Updated***

Lady Royals softball announced via social media that tryouts for the 2025-26 team have been moved to May 13-15 from 4 to 7 pm at the high school softball field due to the uncertainty of the weather.

Food and fellowship part of a night of fundraising for football.



The Royal Touchdown Club held their annual reverse raffle and silent auction Saturday night. People paid $100 a ticket for the chance to win $10,000, money from a 50/50 raffle, door prizes, or bid on numerous items and sports memorabilia
The $100 paid for two steak dinners and local-based band Skylarks provided entertainment throughout the night. Football season starts August 1 when Bleckley scrimmages Hawkinsvile.

Boys track team wins state title.

Ryder Garrett was the high point earner for all of Class A Division 1.

Rain moves boys tennis semifinal to Cochran.

Saturday's GHSA tennis semifinals and finals in Rome were rained out. As a result, the BCHS boys will host A.C.E. in a semifinal May 14 at 5 pm. Admission is $10 with tickets only available via GoFan (both GHSA rules.)
