Local churches holding special Thanksgiving services November 22. ***Updated***

Mt. Calvary Baptist Church will have "An afternoon of remembrance and Thanks" November 22 at 4 pm. It will be a memorial service for those who've lost loved ones during the COVID-19 pandemic. The service will feature church and community members already contacted and is being done for those who weren't able to hold a funeral or memorial service due to COVID-19 restrictions. Mask wearing is strongly encouraged. Salem Baptist Church will hold a special Thanksgiving service that night at 6 pm. There will be an opportunity to speak about what you're thankful for.

A night of sharing faith on the field.




Bleckley County High School FCA hosted a "Fields of Faith" event Wednesday night at Royal Stadium. It featured music, student testimony, as well as a guest speaker. Local pastors were on hand to pray with students who responded to the alter call. There was an estimated attendance of 250.
