BCES "Incredibles" board students for October.

Bleckley Elementary recently announced students who would be featured on their “Incredibles” bulletin board for October. Each month, one student from each pod is selected based on behavior, grades, attendance, and citizenship. Their names are placed on the board, are recognized at Citizens Bank of Cochran, and get to meet with principal Jenny Brooks to discuss operations at BCES. Here are the students chosen for October. BCHS Junior Lineman David Dent announced this week via social media he'd been invited to participate in the 15th annual Offense-Defense All American Bowl scheduled to take place December 27-30 in Charleston, South Carolina.

The Woods Golf Course hosted the annual Jimmy Hill Memorial Golf Tournament Saturday afternoon. Proceeds from the event will go toward Mt. Calvary Baptist Church youth missions.

Bake sale will benefit, Honors, AP, educational class trip to Orlando.

Proceeds will benefit the annual educational trip to Disneyworld in Orlando where students will experience hands-on physics and calculus concepts, along with environmental science lessons through Disney's educational programs.
