The Cochran Farmers Market will open for 2025 tomorrow from 8 am to noon on the courthouse square. The market is celebrating 15 years of existence, having started in May of 2010.

This pickoff by Brody Fleming (on a throw from Gavin Cole) was a key play in game two.
It took a walk-off win in game one and extra innings in game two, but BCHS found a way to get past Fitzgerald and into the GHSA quarterfinals Thursday night.

Boys tennis advances to GHSA semifinals.



(Group photo contributed.) The BCHS boys tennis team clinched a berth in the GHSA semifinals with a 3-0 win versus Jeff Davis Thursday afternoon. The semifinals and finals will be held at the Rome Tennis Center on the campus of Berry College in Rome May 10. The girls will look to join them when they host Jeff Davis May 5 at 4 pm.
