Lady Royals roll past Washington County.

With three region games left in the season, the Lady Royals have their playoff destiny in their own hands. Win all three and BC would pick up their first region title since 2014.

That first step was taken Tuesday afternoon in a 15-0 win versus Washington County. BCHS got eight in the first, five in the second, and two in the third. Winning pitcher Riley Haley went 2 for 2 with a triple and 3 RBI. Clara Rickerson was 2 for 2 with a double and 2 RBI.

Jordyn Krieg went 1 for 2 with 3 RBI. E�lisia Vickers was 1 for 2. Bleckley returns to action October 7 at Hawkinsville. Game time is 5:30 pm

Royals Football Players of the Week.

Here are the BCHS Football Players of the Week for the Vidalia game. Offense: Jaden Mobly, Jahvon Butler, Chuckie Stephens. Defense: Shon Jenkins. Special Teams: Javin Rozier. Scout Team: Jacob Headrick. The Royals are off this week and will return to action October 9 at home against Dodge County at 7:30 pm.

Rec. Department to host Dixie Softball 2022 6, 8u World Series.

The Cochran Bleckley Rec. Department announced via Facebook they had been selected by Dixie Softball to host the 2022 Sweet Tees (6u) and Dixie Softball Darlings (8u) world series. It will mark the second and third world series hosted by CBRD, the 1994 Dixie Bells Slowpitch World Series was held in Cochran. To volunteer, call (478)934-3225.
