Good seasons by track teams celebrated.

BCHS senior presents donation to Primary School Food Bag program.

(Photos contributed.) Bleckley County High School senior Scout Totty presented a check to Bleckley Primary for their food bag program Tuesday afternoon. The program provides kids in need with food to eat each weekend until they return to school the following Monday. Toddy, a member of the State Superintendent�s Student Advisory Board, chose raising funds for the food bag program as her service project. The money was raised via a run-a-thon with middle and high school cross country students where they ran six hours relay style on April 6.

Two fundraisers for BCHS Competition, Football, cheerleaders.

The 2025 BCHS Competition and Football cheerleading squads are selling Tidal Wave Car Wash vouchers. $10 for a $30 wash. They're also selling booster club memberships. $40 your name or business name to appear on a banner which will be displayed at all competitions and home football games. Cochran Fire Department finds a different use for their water equipment.

(Photos courtesy Cochran Fire and Emergency Services Facebook page.) The Cochran Fire Department uses their hoses and other equipment to put out fires. But they found a different use for it recently. They provided water for Bleckley Primary's "water day." According to a Facebook post, one of the kids remarked it was "the best day ever!".
