Two articles corrected.

While covering the home game versus East Laurens, it hit me. I had totally fouled up the Top High School Sports Stories of 2017 article I did on December 31.

In the original article, I failed to credit the Lady Royals basketball team for making it to the final four. Upon realizing this, the article has been updated and revised to reflect what actually took place. Also corrected was the December 26 article on why it was a great year for BCHS and BCMS sports.

I'm truly sorry about both errors While never wishing to make excuses, it has been extremely difficult since my father passed away. Not only did he help start Bleckley Progress, he was the business manager, and my ombudsman whom I went to for advice.

That's not even accounting for how much I miss him personally and the adjustments that've had to be made since. Both articles were attempts to create content during what was a slow news time.

Things are still very difficult and painful. I ask for your patience during this time. Thanks for your continued readership and support.
