Jalexia Taylor battles a double team.

BCMS wrapped up their home season against West Laurens. The girls held off a Lady Raider rally while the boys got a big win.

Millie Hulsey scored on this short jumper.

Up three after one quarter, Jalexia Taylor scored six in the second as BC led 17-10 at halftime. Still up seven going to the fourth, West Laurens used a 9-2 burst to tie the score at 26. Taylor put Bleckley ahead with 1:42 left. Though one free throw was the only offense the rest of the way, it proved to be enough in a 29-26 win. Taylor led with 19 points.

Omari Jackson goes up for two.

The Barons sprinted out to a 9-4 lead after one. Jhamir Marshall hit one of two free throws with three seconds left in the half, doubling the lead. Bleckley blew the game open with a 14-5 third quarter and went on to win 41-28.

Tavares Mays drained this jumper.

Marshall had 15 points. Omari Jackson added 10 points. The regular season ends Thursday at Dublin Middle School. Tip time is 4 pm.
