It was another solid season for BCMS baseball. Finishing in the top four, making a playoff appearance. That was pretty much the norm for Coach Mike Lee during his 15 years as an assistant then head coach.

Monday night was a wrap on the season and Lee’s career as a coach at the annual awards banquet. Following the traditional player-parent softball game and meal of hot dogs and hamburgers, Lee made the announcement before awards were presented.

Coach's Award winner Caleb Senters.

Lee said he and Coach Gary Arnold only had a limited time to work with the players, and said they appreciated the opportunity. He said they never had to worry about the behavior of the players while out in public.

Future Baron award- Rylee Little. Fordham and Ethan Savant were co-winners of the Best Defensive Player award. Senters won the Coach’s award. Most Improved- Adrian Mullis.

Final presentations included eighth grade players presenting both coaches with Fungo monogramed bats as well as Lee giving framed team pictures to parents for their players. Congratulations to all the award winners.
