School ending soon, Vacation Bible Schools soon beginning. ***Updated May 25***

Here are churches that will be hosting Vacation Bible School this summer. Your church's information can appear by emailing BleckleyProgress@aol.com

May 30, each Wednesday in June. Ruth Baptist Church- “Answers in Genesis: Time Lab.” 6-8 pm, commencement July 1.

June 4-8
Cochran Church of the Nazarene- "Shipwrecked." 6-8:30 pm.
First Baptist Church- “Game On: Gearing up for life’s big game.” 9 am-noon. Register online by going to

Macedonia Baptist Church- “Game on.” Registration kickoff party, June 3, 3-6 pm. Classes June 4-8, 6-8:30 pm.

Lakeview Baptist Church- “Shipwrecked: Rescued by Jesus.” Register June 10, 6 pm. Classes June 11-15, 6-9 pm.
Limestone Baptist Church- “Game on,” 5:30-8:30 pm.

June 25-29
Bethany Baptist Church- “Game On,” 6-8:30 pm. Meal provided each night, parents invited on final night. Classes for age two through eighth grade.

July 8-13
Empire Pentecostal Holiness Church- “Shipwrecked,” meal at 6 pm, classes from 6-8:30 pm. Ages birth-12 years old. Students who attend will receive free school supplies.

July 9-13
First United Methodist Church- “Splash Canyon: God’s promise on life’s wild ride.” 9 am-noon.
