Local 4-Her's honored at Fall Forum.

Laural Mosley was named Georgia 4-H 2018 Volunteer of the Year at Fall Forum held this past weekend at the Rock Eagle 4-H Center.

A volunteer for nine years, Mosley is reliable and willing to step in to coach a team, fill in at a club meeting, or help students prepare for DPA (District Project Achievement.) She has also volunteered at district and state events such as Fall Conference and State Congress.

Mosely is a certified coach for Chicken Que, Cotton Boll and Consumer Judging, as well as Wildlife Judging. Her teams won national titles in Chicken Que as well as Cotton Bowl and Consumer Judging in 2017.

Also at Fall Conference, The Cotton Boll and Consumer Judging team of McKinley Cranford, Veronica Lee, Caleb Moseley, and Lucy Wiegert finished second in state competition. They will have a chance to compete in a national FACS (Family and Consumer Services) Skill-A-Thon January 2020 in Denver, Colorado.
