An update on the site's, my financial situation.

I received the check from my dad’s IRA last weekend. It’s been deposited into the business checking account. As I anticipated, money from the check will have to pay personal bills. This is despite the estate not being settled.

Besides the personal expenses such as food and credit card debt, I have business expenses also. The only money coming in will be what I can produce via this site. It’s unknown what expenses I’ll have once the estate is settled, especially since I fully intend to live in the only house I’ve known for almost 36 years.

I ask you would remember this going forward as 2018 winds down and we start a new year. I remain committed to continuing Bleckley Progress, honoring both what my dad helped start as well as doing my best to cover the community.

I also hope that you’ll consider donating if you feel led to do so. You can do so via the donate button at the top of the page. There is a website PayPal, BleckleyProgress@aol.com You can donate via Google Pay, bleckleycheerfan@gmail.com, or via my GoFundMe, https://www.gofundme.com/help-dave-and-bleckley-progress

If you own a business, what about starting 2019 by advertising? Just $30 a month, no long-term commitment. While things are slow now, as January comes in, there will be more content, meaning more people viewing the site. By advertising here, not only are you helping your business, you are helping me also.

Please understand repeatedly having to come to you isn’t something I enjoy. But I’m in a new world with new responsibilities. My life is Bleckley Progress and serving the community. In sharing what’s happening, my hope is that you’ll pray for, as well as help if possible, as I continue to serve you going forward. Thanks for reading.
