Celebration of Easter at local churches starting this weekend. ***Updated April 12.***

Here is a current listing of known Easter services and events at local churches. Email BleckleyProgress@aol.com to add yours.

April 13- Egg hunt at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, 10 am.

April 14- Limestone Baptist Church Easter musical “Arise My Love,” 6 pm. Mt. Calvary Baptist Church Easter Musical "My Easter Story...Personal Accounts of the Life, Death, and Resurrection of Jesus,” 11 am. Psalm Sunday Family Day at Salem Baptist Church, 5-7:30 pm. Easter drama, egg hunt, bow shooting, family relay race, more.

April 19- Empire Pentecostal Holiness Church flashlight egg hunt, 7 pm. Limestone Baptist Church Good Friday service, 7 pm.

April 20- Christ Chapel Cochran annual helicopter egg drop at Cochran Bleckley Rec. Department. Games at 2 pm, egg drop at 3. Egg hunt at Limestone Baptist Church, 10:30 am.

April 21- Community Sunrise Service at Bethany Baptist Church, 7 am. Breakfast to follow. Sunday School at 10 am, Easter Cantata at 11. Sunrise service at Christ Chapel Cochran, 7 am. Services at 9 and 10:30 am. Sunrise service at Empire Pentecostal Holiness Church, 7:15 am. Breakfast to follow.

Sunday school at 10 am, Easter play at 11 am inside Family Life Center. Contemporary Easter service at First Baptist Church, 8:30 am. Traditional service at 11.

Sunrise service at Lakeview Baptist Church, 7 am, followed by fellowship breakfast. Sunday school at 10 am, Easter service at 11. Sunrise service at Limestone Baptist Church, 7 am. Breakfast to follow. Sunday school at 10 am, Easter worship service at 11.

Sunrise service at Macedonia Baptist Church, 7 am. Breakfast to follow. Sunday school at 10 am, Easter Cantata at 11. Sunrise service at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, 7 am. Breakfast at 8 am. Sunrise service at Salem Baptist Church, 7 am. Breakfast to follow.

Sunday school at 9:45 am, Easter worship service at 11.
