Tryouts for the 2019 Bleckley County High School competition and football game cheer squads were held last week. Here’s who made both.

The squads are already hard at work raising funds for the coming season. Money raised will go toward costs such as supplies for both squads as well as competition expenses. Here’s what’s currently happening.

Cheesecake sale- Variety of flavors, cost $23 each. Pork chop plates- $7.50. Plates include pork chop, green beans, corn on the cob, bread, and brownie. Pickup will be May 19 from 11 am to 1 pm at the high school baseball field concession stand. Both orders for cheesecakes as well as pork chop plate orders are due by May 13.

Booster club memberships- $30. Your name/business name will appear on a banner that will hang at home football games and competitions. Memberships are due by June 4.

Customizable window decals will again be available throughout the year for $10. They can be general support or be specific to any sport.

See a cheerleader on either list to support the current fundraisers. You can also call (478)231-9666 for more information.
