School's out, Vacation Bible School is in. ***Updated May 31***

The next couple of months will be busy for several local churches as they’ll be holding Vacation Bible School classes for children. Here’s a current list of classes with dates and themes. Email BleckleyProgress@aol.com to have your church’s listing included.

June 2-6
Ruth Baptist Church- “The Incredible Race,” 6-8 pm.

June 3-6
Lakeview Baptist Church- “Roar: Life is Wild. God is Good,” 6-9 pm. Registration June 2. Games at 3 pm, registration at 5, meal to follow.

June 3-7
First Baptist Church- “Into the Wild,” 9 am-noon. Register online by going to fbccochran.com/registration-forms

Salem Baptist Church- “Into the Wild,” 6-9 pm. Classes for age three through rising seventh graders. Register online by going to kideventpro.lifeway.com/mychurch/?id=52419&t=l

June 9-13
Bethany Baptist Church- “Into the Wild,” 5:30-8:30 pm. Age four-fifth grade. Meal each night, Parent's Night June 13.

June 10-13
Macedonia Baptist Church- "Into the Wild," 6-8:30 pm. Registration kickoff June 9, 3-6 pm with water slides, food. Commencement June 14 at 6 pm.

June 10-14
First Church of the Nazarene- "Roar", 6-8:30 pm.

June 11-13
First United Methodist Church- “Fixer Upper: Wait ‘til you see what God can do,” 9 am-noon. Breakfast and snack provided. Closing event June 14 at 6 pm in Social Hall. (478)934-6942, office@cochranfirstumchurch.org for more information.

June 17-21
Limestone Baptist Church- "Into the Wild," 5:30-8:30 pm.

June 21-22
Mt. Calvary Baptist Church- “Into the Wild,” 6-9 pm on Friday, 9 am-3 pm Saturday, 9 am-noon Sunday. Register online by going to

Empire Pentecostal Holiness Church- “Roar: Life is Wild. God is Good,” meal nightly at 6 pm, classes from 6:30-8:30. School supplies will be given away to all students at July 12 closing ceremony.
