For the second straight year, the Board of Education had a good problem with their monthly meeting. That being, enough space for everyone. As those who won state championships in both athletic and extracurricular activities were going to be recognized, the May 23 monthly meeting was held inside the high school auditorium.

An update was provided on the new primary school. Superintendent Steve Smith said architects were waiting on flood determination from the Department of Natural Resources before applying for site approval.
