Ways I can help you that would help me also.

The estate still isn't settled for reasons beyond my control. I have limited monthly income, and as you may know, have had two huge unexpected expenses in the past two months (air conditioning compressor in April, well pump in May.)

But I don't want you to think I'm simply asking for money. Yes, donations would be welcomed. PayPal, my GoFundMe, Google Pay. But there are also services offered that would not only help me, they might also be of benefit to you.

Advertise on the site- Ad rates are $30 a month, no long-term commitment. Your business logo can be seen by thousands of readers each day. A link to your website and/or Facebook page would also be included. Contact me for more information.

Special announcements- Want to wish someone a happy birthday? Did you get engaged? Want to congratulate someone? For $15, your special announcement will run on the site. Pinning it to the front page for two weeks cost just $30.

The section is for any person or business wishing to make any type of non-commercial announcement. Examples include wishing seniors good luck, wedding announcements, anniversaries, business and personal congratulatory ads. Please contact me with any questions.

Transfer your VCR tapes to DVD- If you have old tapes sitting around collecting dust, I'll transfer their contents to DVD for just $10 per tape.

Please understand I don't enjoy posting articles like this. But as Danny DeVito's character said in the movie Heist, "Everyone needs money. That's why it's called money." That includes me.

The goal of this article is to demonstrate that while I do need money and your help, I offer ways to earn it. Just as I try daily to continue to earn your trust by providing the best local online newspaper possible. Thanks for your continued readership and support.
