After many years of different organizations holding back to school events, a community-wide back to school bash will be held August 2 at Eastgate Plaza. It's sponsored by Communities in Schools/Family Connection, Job Training Unlimited, the Cochran-Bleckley Chamber of Commerce, and the Bleckley NAACP.
Donations of school supplies that will be handed out to students in all grades at the event are sought. Here are the lists of items needed.
