The Middle Georgia State University School of Arts and Letters is adding “work ready” concentrations to some of its degree programs. According to a release, the purpose is to help students chart specific paths into careers.
Concentrations are subfields within degree programs (IE: a student majoring in New Media and Communications choosing public relations as their subfield.) Another example is the documentary film concentration for Bachelor of Arts in History majors.
