Church Christmas events beginning this weekend. ***Updated December 5***

Here is a current listing of Christmas services and events at local churches. Add your church's by emailing BleckleyProgress@aol.com

December 7- Longstreet United Methodist Church Soup & Chili meal, caroling. Enjoy a bowl of soup or chili and gather round the piano to sing your favorite Christmas songs.

December 8- “Acoustics for Angels” at Christ Chapel Cochran, 5 pm. Christmas music performed by local artists. Please bring a new, unwrapped toy for donation. First Baptist Church children’s choir Christmas musical, 5:30 pm in the Fellowship Hall. Mt. Calvary Baptist Church children’s Christmas program, 6 pm.

December 14- Macedonia Baptist Church Living Nativity. Theme “We Believe.” Intersection of GA 257 at Macedonia Church Road. Performances at 6, 6:45, and 7:30 pm.

December 15- Bethany Baptist Church Christmas Cantata, 11 am. Bethany children’s Christmas play, “The Plane Truth about Christmas,” 6 pm.

Mt. Calvary Baptist Church adult choir musical “This is Christmas,” 11 am and 6 pm. Macedonia Baptist Church Christmas Play, 5:30 pm. Salem Baptist Church Christmas Cantata and Play, 6 pm.

December 22- Christ Chapel Cochran Christmas service and musical at BCHS auditorium. Breakfast 9 am. Children’s musical “One Starry Night,” 9:30 am. Worship and Christmas message at 10 am. Lakeview Baptist Church kids Christmas musical, 6 pm.

Limestone Baptist Church adult and children’s choir Christmas musical, 6 pm. Mt. Calvary Baptist Church candlelight communion service, 6 pm.

December 24- Bethany Baptist Church communion service, 5 pm. First United Methodist Church candlelight communion service, 5:30 pm. House of Grace candlelight service, 6 pm. Limestone Baptist Church Christmas Eve service, 6 pm. Trinity Episcopal Church Christmas Eve service, 10:30 pm.
