BCMS holds grade level spelling bee.

Bleckley County Middle School held it’s grade level spelling bee December 12. The best spellers from Social Studies classes in grades 6-8 participated.



Sixth grade participants: Da’niya Bailey, Zymori Colson, Alanna Daniel, Anna Claire Dean, Chance Floyd, Dakota Fountain, Olivia Galloway, Noah Hinson, Karli Martin, Amanda McClinton, Karmari McNair, Kamareius Pasby, Kemarion Shine, Ethan Teagle, and Bianca Vincent.



Winners- First place, Dakota Fountain. Second place, Kemarion Shine. Third place, Alanna Daniel.



Seventh grade: Letezia Ates, Garvin Carver, Carter Darsey, Ashton Evans, Maurice Farrow, Kooper Hill, Landon Hinson, Annsley Johnson, India Johnson, Nate Knox, Aubrey Lewis, Amiyah Roberts, Andrew Rozier, Lillian Schmittal, Parker Smith, and Noah Totty.



Winners- First place, India Johnson. Second place, Andrew Rozier. Third place- Ansley Johnson.



Eighth grade: Emily Beasley, Avery Cavanah, Carleigh Claxton, Lauren Coley, Cameron Faulkner, McKenzie Hattaway, Makayla Jackson, JB Jenkins, Shane Knighton, Caleb Long, Kamari Mack, Addie Newbry, Gracie Odom, Callie Paulk, Katie Thompson, and Alissa Wilson .



Winners- First place, Addie Newbrey. Second place, Lauren Coley. Third place, McKenzie Hattaway.

First and second place winners advance to the Bleckley County School System Spelling Bee January 14, featuring students in grades 4-8. That winner advances to the GAE District 7 Spelling Bee February 22 in Eatonton.
