Churches altering, cancelling services due to coronavirus. ***Updated March 21***

The effects of COVID-19 continue to be felt locally. All schools and the rec. department are closed to the public. Several churches have either cancelled or greatly reduced their services during this time also. This is a current list of churches who’ve posted announcements either via their websites or social media. Email BleckleyProgress@aol.com with any additions.

Bethany Baptist Church- After announcing earlier in the week that all services except Sunday morning had been suspended for the next two weeks, the church said yesterday this Sunday's services would be livestreamed via Facebook only. All activities suspended.

Christ Chapel Cochran- Will be doing online services for both Sunday and Wednesday for the next two weeks, christchapelcommunitychurches.com

Empire Pentecostal Holiness Church- Sunday service cancelled. A sermon from Bishop Tim Lamb will be streamed via empirechurch.com Sunday at 11:25 am.

First Baptist Church- All services cancelled until further notice. Will be doing Facebook Live services at 7 pm starting tonight and at 10 am on Sunday mornings.

First United Methodist Church/Longstreet United Methodist Church- All activities postponed until at least April 1.

Lakeview Baptist Church- All services postponed tentatively until April 4.

House of Grace- Will be broadcasting services via their YouTube channel and Facebook Live for the next two weeks.

Macedonia Baptist Church- All services, activities suspended until further notice. Facebook Live service Sunday morning.

Mt. Calvary Baptist Church- All services suspended until April 5. Weekly messages will be posted on church website (mcbccochran.com), church Facebook page, and on YouTube.

Salem Baptist Church- All activities cancelled through the end of March.

Union Hill Baptist Church- Announced this past weekend all services except Sunday morning worship service at 11 am would be cancelled for the next two weeks.
