Bleckley County High School outlined plans for graduation which will be held June 13 at 8 am inside Royal Stadium. An email sent to students and parents states each graduate will be given four tickets (grouped together.) Specific seating assignments for graduates will be determined by random draw during graduation practice on June 12. All guests attending must have a ticket, no age exceptions.

All graduates will sit six feet apart in the home bleachers. They’ll pick up their own diplomas while administration stand six feet behind. No hugs, handshakes, nor high-fives will be given.

Ushers and law enforcement will be on hand to ensure social distancing before, during, and after the ceremony. Guests will not be dismissed until all graduates have left the stadium. The letter recommends all attending to wear masks.

The letter goes on to say further procedural and logistical details will be provided closer to June 13 and make any changes needed based upon the state government and Department of Public Health.
