Trinity Glover stretches to stay on the bag.

Last year, the Lady Royals broke a 13-game losing streak to Dodge County by winning in Eastman. They sought to make it two in a row as well as win their second straight region game Saturday morning.

Clara Rickerson sets to throw to second.

Trinity Glover’s second RBI double in the third capped a four-run inning, giving BC a 5-2 lead. Dodge would score one in the home half. A two on, two out opportunity in the fourth produced no runs. Leading 5-4 in the sixth, a throwing error on a ball hit by Rebecca Bowling allowed E’lisia Vickers to score from second base.

Reagan Wimberly receives the ball to get the lead runner.

Dodge though would cut the deficit to one in their half. Still leading 6-5 in the seventh, Riley Haley recorded her only perfect inning in the seventh to seal the win. Vickers was 2 for 4 with a pair of doubles and 2 RBI.

Jordyn Krieg gets under a ball in left field.

Glover was 3 for 4 with two doubles and 2 RBI. Bowling was 3 for 4. BCHS hosts Schley County September 14 JV play at 4 pm with varsity to follow.
