When teams are struggling, bad things seem to befall them. It’s been a struggle for this year’s Lady Barons team. Limited experience at many positions, the team was 2-7 going into Monday’s game versus Dodge County. Four runners thrown out on the basepaths were part of another tough day.

Down 1-0 in the first, two runners were caught stealing. Trailing 5-0 in the fourth, BC scored two runs on two outs. It was 6-2 in the fifth and the bases were loaded with one out. But a runner was thrown out at home plate after trying to tag on a fly ball.
