Sorry about the quiet few days.

I try to keep content on the site. Because I want people to read, and I want my advertisers to get as much exposure as possible because I appreciate their support.

After the football game last Friday, things got quiet. Even on Twitter, not much content. For that, I'm sorry. There's a reason why things got so quiet.

For those of you who don't read my Twitter, Patches died last Monday. He'd primarily been my dad's dog but became my dog once my dad died. I was his caregiver and did everything I could to ensure he had as normal a life as possible despite everything.

Last weekend, he began to show signs of illness. I got medicine for him from the vet, but it was too late. The loss hurt tremendously but I kept working because I believe in responsibility.

But by last Saturday, I was physically and emotionally worn out. Even if I had known about opening day for football at the rec. department in advance, I was too tired from covering the Vidalia game to make it.

And I had some personal errands to attend to Saturday. So I used Saturday to take care of those things.

I'm sorry things were so quiet. Please know I'm still doing the best I can. Thanks for your continued readership and support.
