Financial update and upcoming coverage plans.

Found out yesterday the sale of the farm got delayed. Surveyor's report wasn't completed, he'd had COVID. As I am desperately needing the money from the sale, it's of course disappointing.

Because I'm going to need to get my car serviced soon among several other expenses. So I'm stressed about it, and anxious for things to get done.

Didn't travel to soccer tonight for two reasons. 1. Gas prices are too high to travel that far for a non-region game. 2. Vey busy weekend ahead.

Tomorrow, high school baseball at home plus middle school tennis. Saturday is Biking Bleckley, opening day at the rec. department, plus Diamond Day at BCMS. And I won't have my normal off day Sunday.

High school football and the football/competition cheer squads are both having their awards programs. I will be running contributed photos of football awards and the list of winners.

Football had a special season, and I want to ensure those recognized at the awards are covered. However, there's no physical way I can spend several hours in Cochran Saturday then be back in town early afternoon to do both.

So I'll be covering cheerleading since it starts later, but I don't want to leave anyone out. Monday, will be covering soccer versus Dodge. Debating on whether to stay for the entire boys match or cover the ninth grade one act performance of "Annie JR."

Also, will be doing an article listing Easter events and services at local churches. If you missed the Twitter announcements, you can send your events in to BleckleyProgress@aol.com or bleckleyprogress@gmail.com

My hope for this article is to inform of what's upcoming in terms of coverage and help you understand the decisions made. The site is here to serve the community and I try to do so to the best of my abilities.

Thanks for your continued readership and support.
