Caleb Senters made the catch.

It was a matchup of former region rivals as BCHS hosted Toombs County to open the baseball playoffs Thursday afternoon. The Bulldogs beat the Royals 8-5 during the regular season, but BC committed numerous errors in that game.

Carter Brannon scores.

Already up 2-0 following a J.R. Fordham first inning home run, BC added four in the second. Up 10-0 in the fifth, Toombs got their only offense off starter Brody Little, scoring three times. His sac fly in the home half capped all scoring in an 11-3 game one win.

Tied at 1 in the fourth inning of game two, the Royals scored four times on two outs including a Connor Senters squeeze bunt. A grand slam by Little capped a five-run fifth and all scoring as BCHS won 10-1 to advance to round two.
