Members of the Cochran Bleckley Rec. Department board met on a stormy Monday night. There was no old business.

While financial reports weren't available, finances were said to be doing well, there was money in the bank to make payroll. Jon Thrower also noted that the budget meeting with the city he and Chan Jones attended went well.

Members looked at proposed logos for a rebranding of the rec. department. After discussion, the board decided to ask the vendor to incorporate the school "BC" into the logo.

Director Andy Brand said they made $4,100 off the all star invitational tournament recently held there. He said 8u baseball district would start Friday, and 10 and 12u state softball tournaments would begin there June 25.

There was then discussion regarding the next softball world series planning committee meeting and finding "team moms", required to assist visiting teams with things like checking into hotels and dinner reservations.

Following that discussion, the meeting adjourned at approximately 6:28 pm.
