Director of Transportation and Facilities Stan Thompson was called on to update the board regarding tornado damage to the high school and the flooding which took pplace at the primary school. Thompson first showed slides highlighting the damage to the gym roof, the tennis court, and fencing next to the track.
He then showed slides with the damage areas repaired. A video was then shown from when the pipe burst at the primary school in June causing flood damage. Since it happened on a weekend, it wasn’t discovered for two days.
