BCMS wrapped up their season series with Jeff Davis Wednesday afternoon. After coming up short in a comeback attempt yesterday, the Lady Barons fought their to a walkoff win.

It was 7-3 Lady Jackets after one inning. BC got within 7-4 on an Alaysia Coley hit in the fourth only to see JD get the run back in the sixth. A three-run bottom of the inning cut the deficit to one.

Still down 8-7 with two outs in the bottom of the seventh, Zoey Adams doubled. She scored the game-tying run following a fielding error on Augusta Finch’s bunt. Coley followed with another single, advancing Finch to second.

Finch scored the game-winning run on Jaylicia Stanley’s RBI hit as BCMS completed the comeback 9-8. Finch and Coley were both 3 for 4 with 1 RBI. Adams was 4 for 5 with a double. Stanley was 2 for 5 with 2 RBI. Rayea Dominy was 2 for 4 with 2 RBI. The Lady Barons play at East Laurens September 11. Game time is 4
