Cheerleaders show no fear at Loganville competition.

It was an early morning for BCHS as they traveled north to Loganville High School for the “Fear to Cheer” competition. They were on the road before 7 am after last night’s football game for their final event before Area/Sectional competition next weekend.

A small but vocal group of supporters made the trek for the girls. Emceeing the event was JH Audio/Video, the same group that handles audio for state competition in Macon. So the voice was familiar when BC was called to the floor.

They had an overall solid performance. Good jumps, good energy, good motions. There was fall during a tumbling pass, and couple of drops with stunts. Fans, as always, made sure to cheer loud after the performance for the effort put forth.

Bleckley would hear their name called again, winning first place. While their score wasn’t as high as last week, BC did score well overall, even with deductions for the falls. Most importantly, it was one more chance to work on things before it really counts.

The squad with head coach Heather Davis.

Sectional competition will be November 4 at Ola High School.
