Basketball teams cruise past Twiggs.

BCHS renewed their yearly meeting with Twiggs County as the Royals hosted the Cobras Friday night. It was an easy time for both the home teams.

Ter’Nazia Elvine had 24 points and Zyaire (Moni) Lindsey had 14 as the Lady Royals had a commanding 53-10 halftime lead. They would go on to win 62-11. Elvine finished with 24 points, Lindsey 18.

Citizens Bank of Cochran was Friday night's game sponsor. Pictured with boys head coach Garrett Collins are BJ Coody and Matt Fordham.


Nykez Farrow had 14 points as the Royals led 39-14 at halftime. That included a 19-2 second quarter. The Royals went on to win 69-46. Farrow finished with 14 points. Omari Jackson led with 18 points. Kam Everett added 14 points.

Bleckley travels across the river to take on Hawkinsville tomorrow. Varsity tip time is 3 pm.
