Different games, same result as BC sweeps Hawkinsville.

BCHS traveled across the river Saturday afternoon to renew their rivalry with Hawkinsville. The Lady Royals won big while the Royals prevailed in a close one.

The Lady Royals used a 15-5 third quarter to blow open what was a 10-point game. BC would go on to an easy 56-38 victory. Kalyria Jones had 17 points. Ter’Nazia Elvine added 14 points.

Jaylin Gardner


After jumping out to an early four-point lead after one quarter, the Royals scored just six points in the second and trailed.24-23 at halftime. The second half would be very back and forth, with both teams staying within one score for the most part.

Omari Jackson


Kam Everett’s three with 1:33 left in the game gave BC a five-point lead. The Red Devils got within two. Everett hit 1 of 2 free throws with 17 seconds remaining. The defense prevented Hawkinsville from getting a clean shot as BC held on 47-44.

Nykez Farrow.


Everett had 12 points. Omari Jackson led with 14 points. Caleb Farrow had 13 points. Bleckley hosts Fitzgerald December 12. Varsity tip time is 6 pm.
