Offense struggles in home sweep by Dodge.

When BCHS met Dodge County two weeks ago, it was sweep for the Squaws and Indians in a pair of close games. Friday night’s rematches weren’t as close as both the Lady Royals and Royals struggled down the stretch.

Tony's Auto Body and Towing and The Rak Boutique were Friday's game sponsors. Pictured with boys head coach Garrett Collins are Joseph and Kristina Teston and family.


The Lady Royals trailed 25-19 at halftime. BC would be down as much as eight in the third, but eight points from Ter”Nazia Elvine and a buzzer beater by Kalyeria Jones tied the score.

The basketball squad cheerleaders did a dance during halftime of the boys game.


The Squaws though scored the first six points of the fourth quarter. It was a lead they pushed to nine at times but never relented as BC lost 52-46. Elvine had 18 points. BC was 9 of 21 from the foul line.

Trailing by as many as seven in the first half, Tyrek Mack’s half-court heave cut the deficit to 23-21 at halftime BC though could never tie the game in the third and went down by eight going to the fourth.

The Royals were held to eight points in the fourth quarter in losing 53-40. Nykez Farrow had 19. Bleckley will make its lone appearance at the Houston County Bear Brawl tomorrow night against the host Bears and Lady Bears. Tip time is 7 pn,
