Landon Padgett Memorial Fund extends heartfelt gratitude to the participants, generous sponsors, volunteers, and the entire community of Cochran for the overwhelming support of our 4th annual "Run for a Dream" 5K & 1M Fun Run, held on Saturday December 2, 2023.

This year's event wouldn't have been possible without the invaluable support of our esteemed sponsors: Dairy Queen of Cochran, Bleckley Memorial Hospital, Dixie Lawn and Landscaping, Needle N/A Haystack, Big Mike's Inflatables, Country Financial - Bret Huett, State Bank of Cochran, Citizens Bank of Cochran, Mathis Funeral Home, McDaniel Pharmacy, State Farm - Lindsey Dykes, Treasures on Second, La Cabana, Great Oaks Bank, Sawyer's Enterprises (At Home Senior Living), and Trader Joe's. Their unwavering commitment significantly contributed to the success of the event, enabling us to continue our mission of supporting the dreams and aspirations of young individuals.

Our deepest appreciation to everyone who attended – lacing up their sneakers and joining us for a day filled with camaraderie and purpose. Your presence and active participation was instrumental in making this year's run the biggest success yet. Your enthusiasm and dedication fuel our efforts and drive our cause forward.

As the primary fundraising event for our scholarship program, this year's Run for a Dream surpassed our expectations. The overwhelming turnout and support from the community in the midst of rainy weather touched our hearts deeply. It's your belief in our mission that empowers us to nurture the next generation of courageous risk-takers, dreamers, healers, artists, and leaders.

Looking ahead, Landon Padgett Memorial Fund is committed to continuing our mission of empowering and advancing the next generation. We aim to support and foster the aspirations of our youth, nurturing their potential as they evolve into the leaders, visionaries, and changemakers of tomorrow.
