A night of cross country excellence celebrated.

The middle school all state team.


It was another great year for middle and high school cross country. Both middle school teams won region, the 21st in a row for the girls. Both finished runner up at state. They had the individual boys and girls champions in Anna Lynch and Brody Gibbs.

The high school all state team.


The Runnin’ Royals also had a great year. Region titles 24 and 18 in a row for the girls and boys. The girls won their second straight state title. They had both individual titles with Ella Gibbs and Caleb Darsey.

The "Super 7" award winners.


Both teams were celebrated at the end of season awards ceremony held in the high school auditorium. Athletes received numerous items including a T-Shirt to commemorate their championship. As per usual there was lots of special recognition.

Athlete Scholars.


It included recognizing all athletes, top finishes (both JV and varsity) at the state middle school cross country championship, recognition both the middle and high school all region and all state teams, and recognition of the high school girls state championship team.

Runnin' Baron award winners.


Specific awards were as follows. Super 7 (Given to seniors who had run from sixth grade to 12th)- Johna Bowen, Lauren Kitchens, James Cairney, Joshua Morris. The Athletic Scholar Award went to Bowen and Cairney.

Runnin' Royal award winners.


Runnin’ Barons Awards. Sixth grade Runner of the Year- Averie Knight, Ezra Sorensen. Seventh grade- Aaliyah Webb, Elliot Lynch. Eighth grade- Lucy Herrington, Benji Fordham. Overall Runners of the Year- Anna Lynch, Brody Gibbs.

Runnin’ Royals Awards. Greatest Improvement- Ava Herrington, Kayslen Armstrong, Jack Harrell. Most Improved- Kelsey Sandes, Zach Gilbert. The “Royal” award- Maddie Graham, Natalie Kitchens.

Runners of the Year. Ninth- Lily Farrell, Harrison Rogers 10th- Ava Herrington, Jack Harrell. 11th- Ellen Arnold, Logan Camp. 12th- Johna Bowen, James Cairney. Overall Runners of the Year- Ella Gibbs, Caleb Darsey. Congratulations to all the award winners.
