They got within three with about a minute and half left in the game but neither team scored for the rest of the game. Bleckley held on 38-35. Ter’Nazia Elvine had 11 points.

Nykez Farrow

The Royals had just seven second quarter points as they trailed 22-15 at halftime. In the third, Caleb Farrow’s three capped a 13-6 burst which tied the game at 28.

Late in the fourth, another Farrow three gave BCHS a 43-41 lead. Hawkinsville retook the advantage on a three-point play. BC had a turnover and a missed layup on their next two possessions. Hawkinsville built a three-point lead. Though able to cut the lead to one with less than 10 seconds left, time would run out.

Bleckley lost 46-45. Farrow had 14. Region play resumes January 16 at East Laurens. Varsity tip time is 6 pm.
